Sound Luthiers Inc. is a partnership between Bill Davies and Bob Corson, both part-time musicians and staunch, self proclaimed guitar aficionados. Our aim is to share advice, experience and insight into creating the best tone you have ever had.  We do so by providing gear we trust and use ourselves  at a reasonable price and with free advice.

We are not a guitar grocery store with 15 brands of six-string cereal for you to choose from.  What we may lack in umpteen options we more than make up for in quality and tone. We stand behind and play, everything we sell. We do not carry racks of guitars in inventory. We do not have a showroom full of amplifiers, and you will not find the latest must have effects box that an advertising firm paid someone to endorse. Fact is, the more inventory and the more space required, the higher the costs and the higher the price you end up paying. We also find a crowded store a hard environment in which to try out guitars and gear.

At Sound Luthiers, we like to appeal to your ears. No eye based advertising using “guitar models” with excessive lipstick or eye shadow.  We think it is about time guitar players had great gear, at fair prices backed up by experience and honesty.
